Porcher Home Plumbing Fixtures

For more than a 100 years, Porcher has been in the bath and kitchen fixture business, and even though it was bought by American Standard Companies in 1992, they continued to maintain the Porcher brand. Porcher home plumbing and fixtures include products like sinks, toilet seat lids, and toilet seats among others.

Porcher products include complete toilets with bowls, tanks, lids, and seats. Seats and seat lids are also available. Materials vary. There are some that are made of woods such as natural cherry or wenge. These Porcher seat lids may also feature polished nickel, chrome, or brass hinges, and they also come in traditional porcelain or vitreous china. Lids and seats made of china can be white or biscuit-colored.

Slow-close seats are also available for selected lines of Porcher toilets. Toilet seats are available in wood like cherry. Bowls, tank lids, and bidet seats are also available. Some of the bidets come with their own tubing and remote control.

Additional products include tubs, tub whirlpools, washbasins, bath furniture, and mirrors. Bath furniture includes a 36-inch vanity piece. Their mirrors include options like the Calla II mirror and the Lutezia Modernique mirror.

Porcher sinks or lavatories are made of vitreous china or draped glass. Some are under-mounted, which means you need to install them just beneath the opening in your bathroom vanity. Others are dropped in, and the rim sits over the opening. You can also purchase pedestal sinks. As their name implies, these sinks sit on space-saving pedestals. Some of these pedestal sinks have decks as well, and it is also possible to mount these sinks on the wall. Porcher also has vessel sinks, which are placed on top of a vanity and are often made to resemble works of art glass. These sinks are round, oval, or rectangular in shape.

Porcher has gooseneck faucets that are appropriate for both under-mounted sinks and vessel sinks. Some have a single handle. Wide-spread faucets, which have the hot and cold water handles some distance from each other, are also available. These fixtures are plated with chrome, polished chrome, or brushed nickel. You can also find hardware with copper hookups.
