    Good Phone

    I selected that it does not have a long battery life but this is based on my experience over the last two weeks of getting it set up the way I wanted it (special ring tones and notification tones, and simply exploring the the phone since it did not come with any manuals on how to do certain things) therefore I had it on for long periods of time. This was an "upgrade" from my previous phone and I did not realize that my old SIM card did not fit this one (I was unaware that there were in fact 3 different sizes of SIM card) I had to wait approximately a week to get a new SIM card from my carrier so I haven't really had much time to truly try all of its functions. I do believe that once I become acquainted with its many functions and all software updates are done it will be a good phone.

    Big use n compact size

    The S4 Active is fantastic! It does exactly what I need it to do in a fast and easy fashion. It's durable and although I am not an athlete, I lead a busy life and this little phone keeps up. I have very small hands, so large-size phones are cumbersome and difficult for me to use with one hand. Not this one! I had an S4 Mini which seemed custom-made for me and this is just as good. The only drawback I can see is the battery life. A longer-lasting battery would have made it perfect. I had my choices of phones, but chose to stay with the S4 series because it has the works of the larger phones without all the bulk.

    Gotta say...

    I love the S4 Active. I have tested the S5 and S6 and have to say that the S4 Active is a superior product. The "waterproof" case has been tested and proved to ME to be as advertised. The controls are easy to use, the formatting and download of apps is easy and the camera and video are excellent. As with all "smart phones", the only negative is if you drop them and the glass breaks. Do yourself a solid and get a VERY good case cover to protect the corners where it is vulnerable. I recommend a Body Glove case. It's saved my phone more times than I can count.

    Very pleased!!

    This phone was in almost new condition and at a great price! When my 2 yr old phone went kaput, I considered upgrading to a newer version of the Samsung S4 Active but did not want to put out neary $700 for features that did'nt matter to me. I figured if I could find a used phone like the one I had and could just switch out the memory and ime cards. This worked out great for me at a fraction of the cost of a new phone. I received it before expected. I am very pleased with this purchase.

    Great phone from the Galaxy Series

    Great phone!. Easy to use. LOVES to drain the battery quickly. Had to modify what apps had priority etc. initially. Setting it up on the Straight Talk network (APN settings) was a little cumbersome ( I blame my lack of knowledge with that techy stuff) but there are a ton of websites/youtube videos out there that really helped to do it easily. Once the settings were complete, this phone functions great. Bought a better battery for longer talk time and web surfing etc. Always been a Galaxy fan, and they just keep getting better and better.

    Best phone yet

    We really love this user friendly phone. The large screen size is very nice and the phone can still fit in a pocket, We like the hard keys on the bottom of the phone better than the soft ones on the S3. It is easier for fat fingers to select the numerals and program widgets due to their larger size. Sound is clear and loud enough. Pictures are beautiful! Charges more quickly than our previous phones and holds the charge longer. No need for a power boost device.

    Strong, thin and smooth.

    The Galaxy S4 Active is a durable phone built to withstand more than the everyday treatment. I like that it is thin with a large screen and with a gel cover the phone fits perfectly in the pocket. Battery life is very good with over 24 hours of normal use life. Updated to Android 5 that runs great with smooth operation and fast response. 16gb of built in memory is the reason. Camera with app full of features along with 16 megapixels.

    It Would Be Great, If It Was The Same Size As The S4 Mini

    Slightly smaller than the S5 Active, so fits most of my pockets. When dropped, the back cover and battery will pop out. Have to always check to make sure back cover and plug cover are tightly in place. But that's the price of convenience over a permanent sealed unit. Other than that, it works fine.

    "Good" is a good description

    The phone had remarkably no scratches on the screen. However, there was a slight burned in image, and I feel the battery is probably the original, meaning it has a shorter battery life. That being said, being able to bypass the phone company to get a phone makes this a good buy.
