Great for artists!!

I bought this in hopes to find a good tablet I could take with me and draw digitally on the go because I tend to get rusty very easily if I don't practice often. If you're going to consider purchasing this tablet and you're an artist, here's some things you should know! -The tablet is very touch sensitive. It's not a big problem but it does take some getting used to. -If you use a program like Paint Tool SAI or Photoshop and the pen pressure isn't working, download the Wacom Feel Drivers! It works *SUPER* well! -Don't get discouraged when learning to use this tablet. It's a big change from graphics tablet to normal tablet despite it not seeming so. Just take your time to get well-adjusted. -The battery life isn't fantastic. I get roughly 1-3 hours. This is the reason I gave it 4 stars. It's not that big of a problem, I just take the charger with me when I go out just so I can charge it wherever I need to. Other than the battery life, this tablet is exactly as described and it runs swimmingly! I absolutely love everything about it! This is a little bonus but the box that it came in smelled really good too. Just thought I'd add that because it was a really pleasent :P

Good value

Having never used a tablet running a full OS, I had low expectations, but I needed a WIN 7 laptop to run a local instance of a website so I could demo it without internet access. I was pleasantly surprised by both the speed and battery life of this device. Despite being used and several years old, the combination of the SSD, a decent processor, and an acceptable amount of RAM made this machine run WIN 7 and all your basic apps with flying colors. For a tablet PC, the battery life was pretty good! I'd say about 4 hours of regular use. I imagine with a new battery, you'd get an hour or two more. If you're looking at this expecting it to be like an iPad, you're going to have a bad time though. Not only is the battery life much worse due to the higher end processor, but the device is significantly thicker, bigger, and heavier. Unless you upgrade the operating system, you're also going to be using an OS that is very poorly optimized for touch. The onscreen keyboard WIN 7 gives you is pretty crappy, and all your interactions with the OS (i.e. double-clicks, right clicks) are much harder to do or impossible on touch. But these are flaws of WIN 7, not the tablet itself.

Disappointed

The product, unfortunately, has been an extremely disappointing purchase. The touchscreen, even at its most sensitive, can be extremely unreliable to the point where it seems like the tablet has a mind of its own. The default settings on Internet Explorer were ridiculously restrictive (not to mention difficult to change with the unreliable touch screen) and seemed deliberately set up to make downloading Google Chrome almost impossible. I had to download Firefox first and THEN get Chrome! Moreover, the tablet's operating system, Windows 7, has become a pretty inadequate platform for tablets, since nowadays most apps are made for Android. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this tablet. Its size and storage space are its only high points. You will go crazy trying to make it work, and will probably end up buying a mouse and detachable keyboard for it. I cannot say if it's the result of the operating system or the refurbishing job, but long story short: this product SHOULD have been a lot better.

8 year old refurb that did not have Win 10. Win 7 unable to update. Do not purchase this unit unless it has Win 10, Win 7 is both outdated and not meant for tablets.
