When a woman is getting ready to walk down the aisle, she wants to have that perfect wedding dress. There are many fabrics, laces, and styles to choose from in a wedding dress, and satin is a fabric sought after by many brides.

Some of the fabrics are satin, tulle, organza, and chiffon. Fabrics like tulle can be used in the form of trim or overlays. You will also find lace in some way on most wedding dresses. Other accessories you might see are buttons, beads, and satin ribbons.

While most wedding dresses are white, you can also find them in a cream color and occasionally in another light color. In some gowns, there will be a splash of color in the accessories, such as ribbons, flowers, and beads. Some dresses have a colored train while others have silver or gold beading or embroidery. Color can also be found around the waist.

You can find just about anything that you are looking for. Here is a list of the basics.

• Neckline: There are many different necklines, such as a boat line, which is a nearly linear neckline passing just below the collarbone. Some other styles are choker neck, halter neck, off shoulder, scoop neck, square neck, and spaghetti strap. The most common style to be found in a wedding dress is strapless. Lace can be found in most of these.
• Sleeve length: Many of the dresses come without sleeves. However, you can also find dresses with cap sleeves, short sleeves, half sleeves, 3/4 length sleeves, and long sleeves. You can also find sleeves made purely of lace.
• Dress length: Many wedding dresses are full-length with trains; however, it is possible to find wedding dresses of any length, including mini, midi, and knee-length. There are also a few that have an asymmetrical hem.
• Silhouette: A-line is one of the most common types of dresses. These are small at the waist and gradually flare out to the hem. Besides the A-line, you can also find mermaid, empire-waist, and duchess styles. Many will have lace overlays.
