Replete with chunky sneakers and its own rendition of Chelsea boots, Season 6 was a memorable year for Yeezy. It marked a sneaker based on a previous military boot model that emerged independently from adidas. The Yeezy Season 6 suede chalk kick gained attention because of its simplistic style, unusual colorway, and premium materials.
Background of the Yeezy Crepe Chalk
Yeezy Season 6 crepe sneakers took after the military boots from June of 2016. The new kicks debuted in a chalk colorway, similar but distinct from the Yeezy crepe boots, which had beige uppers and a light-colored sole. Although anticipated at the beginning of the year, the Yeezy Season 6 suede chalk did not launch until February 2018.

The chalk crepe sneaker colorway features a light cream upper with a thick tan sole. Inside the shoe, on the footbed, is the text Season 6 in black. Otherwise, the shoe has no visible branding.
The laces match the sneaker's uppers in color, and you can see the tonal stitching in two simple curved dual thread patterns on the outside. Other signature design characteristics of the shoe are flat soles and a low-top silhouette.
Materials of the Yeezy Crepe Chalk
Premium materials make up for what the crepe sneaker lacks in complex styling. The uppers are made from plush long-haired suede, reminiscent of the Yeezy crepe boot. Matching traditional rope laces complement the uppers, while the thick rubber crepe outsole offers a subtle contrast.
