Yeezy Crepe

Quick Intro to the Yeezy Crepe Sneaker

Yeezy Crepe Sneaker

A masterclass in minimalism and high craftsmanship, the Yeezy Crepe Sole Sneaker dropped on January 1, 2018. Often called Yeezy Season 6 Crepe Sneaker "Thick Shaggy Suede" or "Thick Snaggy Suede," it is a low-top version of the Yeezy military Crepe boot of Season 2. It is one of several models of the Yeezy shoe created independent of a collab with adidas. Understated yet sophisticated, the Yeezy crepe shoe adapts to year-round wear, pairing with casual and dressy looks.

Features of the Yeezy Crepe sneaker

Having debuted in a "chalk" colorway, the Yeezy Crepe sneaker takes its name from the material used to make its sole: crepe rubber. Crepe rubber is merely coagulated latex rolled out into sheets for use in making shoe soles. It's very durable and cushy, absorbing shock and impact.
The thick crepe rubber sole, a hallmark of Yeezy boots, supports a premium 100% suede upper that stands out for its simplicity. Appearing to have a lightly brushed texture, the upper showcases artful stitching on the vamp. Stitched overlays define the eyelets and padded collar. Season 6 is its first generation.

Meant to be worn anywhere and with just about anything, this shoe comes in several colorways. In addition to chalk, there is a polar opposite, the Yeezy Season 6 Crepe Sneaker "Black." The shoe also comes in taupe, grey/graphite, and python. The python iteration is the only one made with actual python skin as opposed to suede.
