    Adidas superstars are horrible now...

    I have not bought a pair of adidas superstars since early 2000's. I was extremely disappointed by the quality. It was a totally different shoe from the one I not only remember but still have! I compared them to the old ones. First, the support is non-existent compared to the old ones. The old ones also stand almost an inch taller than the new ones providing ankle support. The tongue on the new pair is thin and cheaply constructed. The old tongue was thick which provided comfort from the laces across the top. Can't believe adidas can sell these shoes to long time loyalist and get away with it. A shame because it was my favorite sneaker.
