Didn't showcase Astaire's dancing
Royal Wedding: I was trying to buy a video that showcased Fred Astaire's dancing. This is not one of his dancing "showcases". His partner is not the "stare at her she's so pretty" types (like Cyd Charisse), and there isn't much dancing overall. And Astaire is skeleton thin in this one--I kept wincing at the sight of him. When life was slower and men were gentlemen.
I enjoyed this movie as a child and was thrilled when I found it again. This film is about an era when life was slower and sweeter. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a blast from the past. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Very appropriate title
This was bought for a gift for my daughter who loves the actors in this movie, and old movies. She enjoyed it very much as well as the story itself. It was wonderful.
