    A little effort with big results.

    Watched the very well recorded YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHdsPSDbfsM) several times explaining the replacement process. I, too, found after my initial attempt that there was a little extra left over and I remembered a review (during my search for the part) that mentioned the same issue. So I loosened from the top and the right side and continued again working from the left side. Note, I did not touch the bottom part since I had the seam centered. As per the video, make sure to push/press the weatherstrip tightly into the rounded corners. As I worked from the top left to top right again, I was able to press the access into the top right rounded corner. Patience, persistence and determination did the trick.

    Not an exact fit!!!

    The product is supposed to be an exact fit for the models listed (Ford Escape '09 through '12) so that you can preserve the weatherproof seal all the way around. It was about 3 inches too big for the rear liftgate for my 2010 Ford Escape, so I had to cut off a section of it, which completely defeated the purpose of it coming in one piece. Very disappointed for the price I paid.

    Difficult but correct

    Seal was difficult to get proper figment but after many attempts it will fit. Glass is much harder to close but I’m assuming that’s because it’s a new seal.
