    Awesome

I have a dual band router and the 5g doesn't transmit as far at the higher speeds I get when I am much closer. I got 2 of these for my ALFA AC1200 and my speeds jumped up with the stronger signal. I can also take it to Burger King and use the Starbucks router because, well BK's wifi is a joke on a great day. they just don't care. I can't even do a speed test on their wifi without timing out. I do get looks from the customers when I set up the AC1200 and these paddles LOL It looks like a tiny moose, but it works so well I don't care.

  • work well in my setup

Works well in my home. extend my wifi connection with 20-25% (1-2 bars) in my furthest room which is a shape rectangular apartment with a few cement walls in between. This is good enough to save me the need of an extender. The antenna is well build, but lack any manual/guideline of how best to position it, I found putting the side with logo facing the direction where I want to see more signal work best

  • Great product for the money

Bought this to use with a repeater about 100' away from the main AP. Was already able to pull in about -75 to -80db with my cellphone, but was very spotty, and frequently dropped signal. I put this panel on a dd-wrt router/repeater in the same location and have been pulling in a steady -60db, with peak up to -55. That's at the Repeater itself, according to the readout in its firmware. With the standard omnidirectional antenna that came with it I was pulling in about -68 to -70db. So that's a gain of about 10-15db with just an antenna swap! Of course, a clear line of sight is important when dealing with directional, which I have.

  • Effective in the 5GHz band

Especially effective in the 5GHz band. Added about 5 dB extra gain in both transmit and receive. The receive part is key since the transmit part can be somewhat compensated with higher transit power.

  • Great increase For my drone

My dji phantom3 std had crappy range. Using these antenna with the ARGTek mod ( google it) i can use 3 10dbi instead Of the original now my range has well over doubled my stock range. I now can go over 4000ft away and still have video and signal.
