This bulb never reached the color advertised it would reach. No markings on packaging as to color temp of bulb. No markings found on the bulb upon installation. Had bulb shatter upon removal for inspection of markings per seller. Seller did not provide any further assistance beyond that. Even though I broke the bulb I still do not believe that the correct bulb was sent. Seller went dark through messages and has blocked me from their store. Big F for this seller.

    Great reef light

    If you need a reef light for your corals and inverts, this light rocks for the money. You get the Metal Halide for part of the light spectrum and four HO actinic blue T5 bulbs that corals and some inverts need. Plus it has blue leds for night time, and really looks cool. Shop around and compare. You will be hard pressed to find anything better for the money.

    Great value, sturdy aluminum housing and good ballast output.

    These are great for the money. The housing is aluminum and the reflectors are good. The bulbs that come with it will work but I upgrade to the Phoenix MH bulbs and replace the T5's when they burn out. Sure beats paying $600 +. I have three of them.

    Excellent Light

    This is an excellent light at a very reasonable price. It seems to be a copy of the Giesemann Infiniti fixture, but includes a nice set of legs which the Giesemann doesn't and is a third of the price. It also includes an HQI metal halide ballast, which the Giesemann doesn't. Having used the light and seen the quality of the build, I can think of no reason to spend the extra money on the European fixture. Regarding the review saying the fixture is made of plastic, this person is clearly unable to tell metal from plastic. The entire housing and the end caps are metal,. The legs are plastic, but plenty heavy duty enough to do their job. The cords are heavy duty rubber coated, and the switches feel solid. The holder for the MH bulb is ceramic and my Phoenix 14K bulb slid in and locked ...

    Love this light!

    I love everything about this light except, I wish it had 2 cooling fans instead of one. I doesn't get that hot, but I haven't had it during the summer yet. Otherwise I love it and am buying another one to replace my HQ BioCube hood.
