    Well thought out design!

    This is a great design and well thought out. It is an easy installation when replacing a stock Fender bridge. Also - my installation needed a shorter intonation adjustment screw on the E string and they actually included a couple of those in the parts bag! This was installed on a Fender P-Bass that has an added J-bass bridge pickup. It has a custom body made of mahogany root and has a mahogany pick guard. The tone was always very good with the dense wood body and pickup versatility, but it had a stock MIM Fender bridge and I thought something with more mass would make a good bass even better. I was right.. This new bridge adds a lot more mid range depth.

    Installed in Fender Classic Vibe Precision Bass '50s

    in the world of Bass Guitars parts very few parts excel in the market by combining good price and function and Hipshot is one of those companies, this bridge is a work of art and looks amazing. it change the sound of my bass in a really good way since it have a heavier mass to pass more vibrations to the body. as for installation for the bass that I installed it Fender Classic Vibe Precision Bass '50s, i have to modify the bass holes, using the middle hole for alignment the outer holes were remade. a 10 min work, as for replacement for modern Fender Basses is as simple as remove and swap. really recommended id looking for a more robust sound out of your bass.

    significant upgrade

    purchased one a year ago for my fender P bass. quite an upgrade over the stock fender bridge. better resonance and adjust-ability liked it so much i purchased this one for my jazz bass..

    Great bridge upgrade

    Put this in my Fender MIM P bass to replace the factory bridge. Easy install, I did not have to shim my neck. The Hipshot bridge seems to have given my bass a little more low end.
