    Up and working Fine Business

    I am using a 1 1/2" schedule 80 mast, the outside diameter of which is a shade under 2". It is working fine. If I had a do-over, I would opt for the GS-065 for the 2" O.D. Mast simply because the 050 does not allow clearance enough to use the locking inserts and the price difference is not all that much. I would recommend the GS-050 be used with a mast no larger than 1 3/4" O.D. 73, de W4RQ

    Ham tower thrust bearing

    Put it on top of an Rohn 25G tower with a homemade top plate. It's holding 85# of total weight and it will work fine.
