    Economical solution for bulged cases

The Lee Bulge Buster does exactly what it is supposed to do for straight walled cases. It works on both empty cases and loaded cartridges. It is simple to use. You do have to have the Lee factory crimp die for the caliber cases you are trying to fix. You cannot use it for cases that have a rim, such as 38 Special. As long as you stick to the cases listed in the instructions, you won't have a problem getting rid of that small bulge that sometimes occurs near the rim that a full length sizing die can't reach.

  • Is the Bugle Buster Kit required.

It works OK, but it's not the cure all for bugled cases as stated by other users. I'm an experienced reloader for more then 50 years, but just recently began reloading for my 380 Auto, using a mixture of my own brass and range pick up. It's probably better to just disgard and brass that is bugled and not require using the subject tool.

  • Must have for 40 s&w glock

Got this glocked brass and omg what a world of help it is. Must resize before putting through die. But once you run it through you can feel the bulge slip away. Most 40 brass will shrink apparently but will be within spec unless a neck breaks. For the price its a win win for ALL calibers not just for 40 but can be used on a multitude of calibers with correct factory crimp die.

  • Lee Bulge Buster

The Lee Bulge buster is extremely easy to use and provides that next level of assurance that your case will be formed back to factory dimensions. This is very important for purchased Once Fired brass that may have been cycled through a Glock which is notorious for bulging the brass at the bass where it is not supported in Glock 40 S&W's.

  • Fixes damaged rims as well as bulged cases

Sometimes the case rim gets damaged by the extraction claw. In addition to fixing bulged cases, this device will usually fix damaged rims. Note: I don't use the plastic "case catcher". Because I lube the cases before running through the die. I'd have to clean the lube from the "case catcher" when I finished. When the cases emerge from the top of the guide, I just toss them in the tumbler. Probably takes less time than cleaning the "case catcher"
