I installed the cartridge and it worked with no leaks but when I turn on a faucet in the bathroom, the piping to the shower makes a noise. I re-installed the old cartridge to verify there was no noise before. I replaced the orange plastic part of the new cartridge with the brass part on the old cartridge thinking this might be the problem but I still get the noise. It's not terrible but if I tried to sell the house it could cause some concern with a buyer. I will look for other cartridges.
