    Item was exactly as described.

    Appears to be a brand new, original DEI replacement case, and excellent value with the holster clip included. Elsewhere the clip alone sells for nearly the same price as this entire package . Would definitely recommend if your old case needs replacing. This one has the short antenna stub, which my original remote had as well, so was an exact fit.

    Great replacement fob for legacy Viper, Clifford, or Python Alarm systems

    The 479V is OEM for Viper alarm systems, but also interchangeable for other legacy DEI (Directed) alarm systems which are equivalent. I used the 479V as a replacement for a 479X on my Clifford RSX3.5 system and it paired with zero problems. The only difference is the packaging/branding of the fob. The 479V is equal to both the 479X (Clifford) and 479P (Python) fobs and compatible with these legacy alarm systems: Viper: 561XV, 790XV, 791XV, 690XV, 691XV, also Python: 880XP, 881XP, 680XP, 581XP, as well as Clifford Matrix RS III, RSX3.5, 2.5X and RSX1.5. These are no longer manufactured and more difficult to find - expect to pay around $100 for one new.

    Honest seller. Looks brand spaning new.

    We are actually having issues connection it with our security system but that is user error more than likely. The security system keeps going into dead modes now. Transmitter is over $200 from viper. They are ten years old so it was nice to see this one looks brand new at a fraction of the cost.

    Wrong Antenna, Right Caseing.

    Make share that you get the right one, a long antenna or short antenna. They are not the same and will not configure to you car alarm system. Remember the long or short antenna makes the different. Other than that what I paid for I did receive it in a timely and good manner.

    I works as advertised

    I bought this transmitter to replace my older one that was lost. Ordered this one and found the old one the next day. I like the new one; It's not as boxy as the old one. It came in the sealed package as pictured and works very well.
