Good replacement gasket.
I purchased this for a Briggs & Straton model 287707 engine that had a blown head gasket. This gasket was a prefect fit and the engine runs great now. Blown head gaskets seem to be a somewhat common problem on many of the OHV (overhead valve) Briggs engines. The area that goes bad is usually right between the cylinder & pushrod chamber. That allows oil to get sucked into the combustion chamber which results in a very smoky exhaust. Fortunately, these replacement gaskets are inexpensive and relatively easy to replace. The only special tools required are a torque wrench (to tighten the head bolts) and a set of feeler gauges (to set the valve lash).I purchased this for a Briggs & Straton model 287707 engine that had a blown head gasket.
