Quite a thin plate but being chequer plate it’s sturdy by design. I Should have called or contacted Parrotsol as I actually needed it for an Thule Omnistor not as I ordered it a FIAMMA. Slides on the awning leg well but on mine it would have been in line with the original pegging holes, not across for a more secure fixing. A little filling of the plate rectified that and now sits perfectly.
