Does it crimp, yes. Is it cheap, yes. Is it worth your money, debatable.
So I was playing with some 4g wire. 25mm is the metric conversion. When using that with the appropriate sized lug, simply did not crimp.
You must size down so I used 16mm and double crimped it and works good. Good luck with this tool.

To be honest, I ordered the wrong size. I should have bought 6 inch parallels, not 5, but the box they came in was nice and they were wrapped pretty nicely too, not damaged in the slightest. I wanted to return them but the user said they would refund me and I got to donate them to my shop instead. The outside box they came in was perfect, but the divider inside was a cheap nylon that doesn't really do the set justice in my eyes. Not the end of the world, just keep in mind that its not pictured.
