The skates showed up way faster than projected, first off. And yeah, I could have made a set with scrap on hand plus some cheap bearings I'd have needed to buy, but I'm glad I didn't. The time involved was worth the price, and I just moved my lathe like nothing. They really are safer than swinging things from a HF 2 ton lift.
