    relevant classic in great shape

    Beyond nostalgia... Polo has gone through several phases of reformulation over the years, but the latest stuff seems to be more in line with what people appreciated in the vintage: a fresh, minty herbal juniper green-ness laid over warm/rugged/cozy notes of tobacco, cedar-wood and patchouli. While Polo is not the beast it once was in terms of massive projection and longevity, it is still a very strong fragrance with good staying power, and a great value in today's diluted, market-trend-driven fragrance world. Bottom line: a classic that is still relevant in great shape.

    Strong lasting smell

    Back in the 70's this was my prefered eau de toilette and I used to get several compliments from the ladies! Now, my girlfriend hates it on me. I guess due to my age it does not match well with my aging skin. It is a great product with a strong spicy smell more suited to younger guys. I still recommend it. I will give it to one of my nephews.

    Of course you pay more for high quality products. I found this men’s fragrance on EBay for a considerably reduced price. I’ve been partial to this product for many years by resist spending inflated prices. Others have noted the pleasant but reserved signature fragrance.

    A perfect fragrance that will take you back!

    Even thought originally released in 1978 this stuff is 80's in a bottle. Leather, tobacco and the green mossy pine!!!! Made back when using oak moss was as thing. Now it's not used anymore because some snowflakes had some reaction to it. How about not just wear anything with real oak moss? The modern version of Polo green is a neutered watered down shadow of it's former self.
