It works for what I use it for
I expected this controller to be like the model that I had before it. They looked identical (except for color) in the pictures but I was pleasantly surprised when I attached this one to my computer. The controller was recognized by Windows 10 immediately as an xbox controller. Not a generic usb controller like the old one. This single feature alone was a great improvement. It also features a very long USB cable which is handy if you want to sit back away from the display for more comfort. The buttons are well designed and didn't stick or hang, and so far no problems with the analog sticks. Like any product the better you take care of it the longer it lasts. I'm quite happy with the controller. Even the force feedback motors worked, my old controller's motors never did ... I expected this controller to be like the model that I had before it. Pros: Durable design, buttons match up with all games so no controller emulator was needed for any of my games. Force feedback motors worked. The silver "Xbox" button brings up the Windows 10 game bar. Seems fully compatible with Windows operating systems. Cons: None that I can think of at this time.

I'm an avid PC gamer, and I needed a controller since the PS4 controller still has compatibility issues where you need third party software to get it to work for certain games. The Xbox 360 controller works wonders for every game there is on PC that accepts a controller input, so why not? I buy this one, and immediately out the box the D-pad doesn't work properly. When hitting a direction, it'll sometimes register two directional inputs on the game you're playing, so if you play a game like Street Fighter V with this controller, you'll be messing up important inputs. Even being precise doesn't always work. The buttons are also very flimsy and after playing FFXIV 6 hours a day, every day since I bought this controller they wore out quickly. The final nail in the coffin for this knockoff was ... I couldn't raid or do content with this controller any longer, so I'm sucking it up and buying a legitimate xbox 360 controller from the official Xbox online store. It's expensive, but I know it'll last far longer than this poorly constructed thing. I don't recommend this controller at all if you're a hardcore gamer. If you play casually, maybe 1 to 2 hours some nights of the week, it's a fine and cheap investment.

Too good to be true?
Initially it seemed like this controller worked perfectly, very well built and the like, but that changed almost instantly when I tried moving in a diagonal direction with the left analog stick. Initially I thought maybe the games I played were messed up, so I played around with the dead zone settings. That didn't fix anything. I tried reinstalling the drover on my computer; no dice. No matter what game i tried it on, the result was always the same: barely any movement on the diagonal. I tried taking it apart to see what the issue was, but everything looked fine. I even plugged it in twice during the process and moved the sticks around without the case, and they worked fine. The second I put the case back on though, that's when the diagonal problem returned. I have no clue what to do now ...
