    works but!

    tested in hot water, opened at correct temperature. Opening is more restrictive than original Honda thermostat. I thought it should have included the gasket.

    They actually do go bad....thermostat.

    Gates makes a good product, I just so happened had went almost 17 years and 300,000 miles and found I needed a Gates Thermostat. Easy to replace and instant results! I now have heat! Thanks for the great deal and the fast shipping!

    Gates thermostat for honda

    I would recommend it. I have a 2000 honda civic d16y7. Thermostat works very good. If you plan on using gates just don't use the gasket that came with it. It don't fit so just use oem or get a similar gasket like oem.
