Great purchase, goes with a MacbookPro that arrived with a non functioning SuperDrive. Despite having almost but not identical descriptive identifier numbers, the item was not a fit initially, but with a little acumen applied one could see that the connectors were different. Swapped the old connectors with the new and the same with a screw retaining bracket and hey presto some magic was performed and the SuperDrive fitted and worked first time upon powering up. Thank you for saving the day.
