The seller contacted me re: RF interference. Although the advice was for an Atari 2600, I m not sure there s such an option for my Atari 800 & I do notice the long I/O cable varies in interference depending on proximity to the back of the flat screen TV - an option which didn t exist when the Atari was first made.
In any case, this is no reflection on the switchbox, which works as advertised and is recommended for most situations.

This is just what I needed. My Atari 2600 was purchased in 1977, and the original switch just didn't work right. This new one made the games appear on my flat screen TV just the way the did back in the day. I'm so glad y'all can provide parts and pieces for old stuff.
