    It was a gift for my daughter's boyfriend. Since I am writing this review long after he received it, he has told me how much he enjoys using it. It operates as well as he could have expected. I marked 'NO' on the question of 'Good Value' because it is the exact same price as I could have gotten it at a number of online sites.     Pricey but you get what you pay for it's a awesome reel.

    This reel is smooth and a fast retrieve. No birds nest yet. A little awkward feeling not putting your thumb on the spool to control backlash I have already started reducing the centrical break and getting a little more distance each time I take it out.
