    Excellent Vintage Stove

    The condition of the stove was exactly at depicted in the photos, so there were no surprises there. After oiling the pump and filling it with white gas it lit up just fine and ran perfectly. It is a compact size, which is exactly what I wanted. It turned out to be a good value that works well for me.

    Compact, Efficient Camp Stove

    It's a compact little model -- don't expect to put two 11" pans on it or anything. But it's built really well and, when used according to the instructions, works very well indeed. And because it uses white gas instead of propane, the amount of fuel you have to take with you is considerably less.

    Great Old Stove

    Coleman still makes these beauties and I have a "modern" one only 18 years old. This 425E is 38 years old but barely used. It is a bit more stout than the newer ones and has an all metal pump with leather plunger. Built like a tank and will outlast me.

    My first camp stove

    I really like this stove my late father had one very much like it. I bought this with a camping trip in mind next month. I am having problems with the original tank holding enough pressure. I think that it is the pump. So for the time being I am using a propane conversion unit while I try to find a later model tank to replace the original. It works equally with the propane conversion as it did with the original tank. I plan to keep this for years to come.
