    When SSD drives first came out, many of us heard about how fast they are, how light weight, and what amazing performance they could add to a computer. But many have waited, as with any new technology, the price was a little high compared to older hard drive/storage technology and we wanted to be certain they were reliable. Well, the TIME IS NOW to "go SSD drive" if you haven't already.     It is worth every time

    When it comes to storage needs nothing beats a Western Digital in my book. Very reliable, I have yet to one of my WD drives crash or fail. You can never go wrong with this product.

    Nice

    Cloned this drive from a 160gb WD hard drive and after booting it about doubled the speed of opening files. It produces about half the heat of the hard drive. One nice thing, since it is WD you can download excellent cloning software from their website that is free to WD owners..... Used it over a month now and no problems at all. Great update for my two year old dell laptop.

    Installed on old 2009 Dell Inspiron 1545

    Installation of Win7pro x64 was fast and flawless via usb on my old 2009 Dell 1545 laptop. Had to use a spacer, but no problem :). Also has an upgraded LED display, Intel core2 duo P8700 processor, and 8gb ddr2 ram. Performs like a newer laptop. I'm happy :).

    Fast

    It's my first SSD and have run this computer for several months with a conventional platter drive and so I can tell the difference for sure, it is noticeably faster. How long or how well it holds up remains to be seen but I have confidence in Western Digital and I have used number of their media devices and am pretty sure it will serve me well. I use this laptop a lot and I appreciate a good fast computer.
