This is a pretty great repro! Plays, runs, and saves the game just fine. Some minor nitpicks, though: the cartridge shell is a bent up ("chewed up" seems more apt of a description) at the edges near where the contacts are. I'm assuming they did this so it could fit in the GBA's cartridge slot. The game also freezes for a couple seconds when saving and suspending. So, just keep that in mind. But minor cosmetic flaws and freezes in non-problematic areas don't bother me, personally.

As a semi recent Fire emblem fan (I started out with Fates) I found it discouraging that the start of the series was Japanese only, since my Japanese isn’t the best. I struggled with applying patches to emulate these games in English and this cartridge was a godsend. Can’t wait to play it after I play the blazing blade! I tested the game and it came perfect and it was a speedy delivery

Extremely happy with this item. I am a huge Fire Emblem fan, but unfortunately, I don't speak Japanese so this is a great option for those who want the original feel of a cartridge in a language they can understand. The cartridge looks good and plugs into my DS Lite perfectly.
