Haunted History of Tombstone Arizona
My grandmother lived in Tombstone as a kid which makes me curious about Tombstone. I have been hearing and reading about how lawless it was in those days with all the mining going on in that area. The story is basically interviews of real long time residents of the area and the stories that went along with the buildings and towns, not that I believe any of that stuff but it is bringing in the tourists and makes for a good story... For the price, it pretty much describes the town and era of the time and is well done, not to mention some pretty good songs done by the local talent....My grandmother lived in Tombstone as a kid which makes me curious about Tombstone. History Channel tells stories now not history or facts.
I own this myself. The History Channel has been a big let down on this subject.. The film is all about campfire style ghost stories. I feel they could have really touched a little more on the Bird Cage or the some of the actual people that are buried in the cemetary there. The names of some of the ghost that are mentioned are not even buried in Tombstone. If your looking for some great "ghost stories" this is a dvd for you. If you want facts or some thing more on the history pass on this oneI own this myself. The History Channel has been a big let down on this subject.. This is like watching History Channel does Disney's Haunted Mansion
Once again the History Channel has done history as a joke. Not much on this DVD is about history. If you like campfire ghost stories that may or may not have historical background then this is for you. If your looking for something more about history then I wouldn't bother with this one. The way this DVD is presented it really makes Tombstone look more like Disney Land than a place of history.
