ONE OR MORE OF YOUR SPEAKERS OR OTHER PLAYING DEVICES MUST BE HARD-WIRED TO YOUR HOME NETWORK FOR THIS CONTROLLER TO PAIR AND OPERATE. It took two Sonos techs and a lot of Internet searching to discover this. Enjoy!

    i was sent a defective item but the seller did replace it so no problem there. however the replacement was not new. i paid for a new unit. packaging was not the same, no plastic on the screen, item discolored so, no, it was definitely not new. i asked for a partial refund for exchanging my new item for a used one but my request was ignored. they claim it is a new item but clearly it is not

    Great Unit, Works Well

    I am so pleased with this unit, which I have been hoping to find in good condition ever since I first bought my Sonos system in 2016. Now that iHeart radio forces you to listen to a commercial every time you silence Sonos and then turn it back on, it's great to be able to just turn the volume down from my desk or breakfast table. I don't have to have my phone or computer at hand, or get it dialed into the software. Only wish Sonos still offered support for the CR200. Right now, it's working fine, but you never know. I greatly thank whomever sold this to me. Even the battery seems in good shape.

    Great remote for Sonos S1 products.

    This unit only works with older S1 products. It beats having to pull my phone out of my pocket and is great to pass around to let guests choose music. If, like me, you have no interest in upgrading to S2 Sonos products, you might enjoy one of these. The display is great, BTW.

    The right device for the task.

    Unlike a phone app, the CR200 is a dedicated SONOS controller: just pick it up and control your system. There is no waking up your phone, finding the SONOS app, and starting it to just change the volume. Such a waste of time. The affordability of these also makes it reasonable to have several around the house as I do, one in each SONOS zone. I just wish there were a few more dedicated buttons, which would make even simpler to use.
