I have left a positive feedback because I ended up with a full refund for my henry hoover 1200w vaccum cleaner. In essence at 80 years old it was inconvenient to package up and return to post office although eBay were kind enough to send me free postage lable. Machine stopped after few minutes from start up and when checked there was a burning smell so item not as described as fully serviced.

Great product that does a great job.
Recently bought this Vax rather than renting one simply because of the form filling required renting. To say i was surprised by its ease of use and how well it cleaned the carpets is an under statement to say the least.After a few minutes setting it up(five at most) and about 15 minutes practice away i went.I cleaned all the ground floor(reception,hall,cloakroom and lounge)in about an hour. It was so easy to change the containers for the dirty water and to fill that for the cleaning fluid.You can see how well its doing by the colour of the water you soak back up. The carpets came up cleaner than expected by far and were touch dry in 3-4 hours. Feeling proud of my achievements i then attached the piece for cleaning my 3 piece suite and pressed on.Again it was so simple,just follow the given ... Effective and not too expensive.
I had a Vax once before and it was quite good but unlike this model had no fittings to clean stairs, chairs and cars. I chose this model because Which? liked it. Most other Vax cleaners were given a poor score. It is heavy and noisy but does the job. It did an excellent job in the car. I found that I had to use more water on the carpets than the instructions advised. If you intend to clean the carpets in a house you will find Vax's detergent is overpriced. They sell it in pint sized bottles but you need several pints. brilliant product and easy to use and no hassle
Since purchasing the vax's cleaner I have been so busy decorating my dinning room I haven't had time to use it, mind you my son has been and borrowed it and cleaned the whole of his house carpets. He was made up with me buying it,so that has made me a wonderful dad.I've still got one room to do which is the master bedroom, which I'm not looking forward to then maybe I can use my new toy then I will give my views till then my son says it's brilliant and I should have got it sooner,I think it's better than the Vax 121 which is the round one,and a lot easier to useSince purchasing the vax's cleaner I have been so busy decorating my dinning room I haven't had time to use it, mind you my son has been and borrowed it and cleaned the whole of his house carpets. Good value for money ideal for general household cleaning and spills.
Good value for money pretty easy to operate but lacking in a decent instruction manual. Quite easy to load woth detergent and empty the container when full after use. This machine is a good item to have around the house for general carpet cleaning and spills.

Great machine, very effective and great value on ebay
This machine transformed our carpets with its cleaning action. Although 10 years old they have come up looking almost like new. We used Vax ultra+ solution which very effectively removed stains from dirty footwer and also from dropped food and drink. The only slight drawback is that the machine is heavy but this is probably unavoidable when there is both a clean and dirty water tank. It is amzing to see how much dirt is removed when you empty the dirty water tank! The carpets dried very quickly which was very helpful. We are very pleased with the purchase.
