Well built gasket
Gasket was perfectly shaped, with very well defined edges and perfectly straight and flat. Desirable looking and feeling material. Squishes and torques into the head nicely to provide a good seal. NOTE TO BUYER: Because of the construction of this head gasket, if one is careful, this head gasket can even be reused, potentially multiple times. ALSO: Briggs and Stratton no longer provides information on old engines. However, you can look at the SHAPE of your head gasket. If the SHAPE and LOCATION OF HOLES match your engine, the gasket will almost certainly fit. This gasket was made for engines many part numbers away from mine, and it fits like a glove. Also, head gaskets often have overhang. If you see a piece of head gasket in an image that looks like it will not be covered by the mating ... It will still fit your engine. These "tabs" are designed for easy removal. Shape and hole location is what matters. Also, look at the shape of the inside of the gasket where the valves are. Although Briggs and Stratton will deny this, a 5 horsepower Briggs is a 5 horsepower Briggs is a 5 horsepower Briggs. The parts often interchange.
