Playboy: The Mansion is a social strategy game that calls on players to build a virtual empire of wealth, celebrity, and freedom from puritanical repression and intolerance. This is accomplished by developing a fully functioning Playboy mansion, to attract and accommodate influential celebrities and beautiful young models who are willing to strike the right poses. Players who can build a suitably entertaining and well-equipped mansion, while adhering to "the Playboy philosophy," are rewarded with "the Playboy lifestyle," surrounded by powerful trendsetters, influential pop idols, and sexually liberated young women. In short, the game invites players to take the role of a virtual Hugh Hefner. <br><br>As Hef, players will be responsible for keeping the Playboy brand relevant to its ever-evolving audience. One good way to do this is by attracting celebrity friends to the mansion, and making sure they have a good time when they visit. With enough money, players can build new facilities like swimming pools, movie theaters, or tennis courts, which may have special appeal to particular celebrities. It's also a good idea to introduce these V.I.P. guests to Playmates who share their interests. The game's main interface should be familiar to Sims 2 players; characters are directed through their 3D domestic environments with mouse clicks, and clicked objects offer pop-up menus of available interactions.<br><br>Coaxing powerful celebrity friends to appear in an issue of Playboy magazine can boost circulation, bringing in more income for future developments. As Hef, players can determine the content of each issue, choosing the articles, essays, cover shots, and centerfolds. They'll also have an opportunity to direct the photo shoots, choosing the location on the mansion grounds, the model, and the wardrobe selection -- all of which feature a "topless" option. The game includes a structured campaign that follows Hefner's real-life rise to international celebrity through a series of individual scenarios that focus on building the fame, circulation, and clout it took to develop the Playboy brand into what it is today. Players design their own challenges in the "Empire" mode, where they can set their own goals and victory conditions.

    Playboy: The Mansion (PC Games)

    if you like games like the sims, this game is a good bet! this game is very sims like, but you have a bit more of a goal this time. you can start out with nothing, and try to build up the lyboy empire, or start with some stuff, andf try to crerate a top shelf magazine. you can build more areas to the mansion, invite people to a paerty, do photo shoots, interviews, and then actually put the magazine together. this game DOES contain nudity, but most is animated. after winning certian points of the game you can revel secrets and fun cheats like always popular, large heads. and many other fun things. i reccomend this to anyont over 17 thats into the sims type games. you will enjoy the little tasks you incur upon. this game has a decent stroryline, plot, goal. but is still free roaming and fun.

    A little Cheeeezy, but fun

    This game is actually pretty fun when you really get going. It is a little hard to take the game seriously because of the sexual content, but once get past that and actually start playing the game, it's a lot like SIMS. You get to build the playboy Mansion, create rooms in the mansion, hire staff for the magazine, print the magazine, make money, build more, hire playboy bunnies and models, take photos and more. If you are buying this game solely because you are a bit perverted, you will be a little amused but will get bored fast. If you like a good SIMS type game (and you are a little perverted...), you'll really enjoy it... and you'll be amused too. *Fun Game *Graphics are a littlr jumpy at times. *Don't let your kids walk in on you

    Fun...for the first hour or so

    This game can be quite addictive initially, expecially to anyone who enjoys the Sims and/or Playboy. It has nice bonuses that can be earned and features actual Playboy mansion locations including the world famous grotto. The game does seem to get a little repetitive after a while as you crank out magazine after magazine after magazine. The mission mode does keep it interesting, though. I would say that you're better off playing the Sims unless you want to see Hef have fun with all the many ladies he can get his hands on.

    Play boy wow!!

    Very very hot steamy game!! very much for the adult. great cheats out there to be found too....you decide what to do with your girls while all the time trying to make your mansion magazine a sucess. very sexual in content, nudity, rated x in some parts so beware!! not for the fait hearted :-) this is sure to be a great collectors item!! but if you like sims or any of those games you love how much further you can go with this!!

    I liked it!!

    It is like the sims only a little bit better, you have two choices, one to start with nothing and build up the playboy empire, or just simply try to make a good magazine from what it gives ya, the best part is you can have parties lol, do photo shoots, and ALL kinds of stuff..lots of freedom! GREAT GAME!!
