Vented louvers are sheet steel for which the profiles are laser cut or water jetted and the wing is bent into the bonnet cavity (engine compartment). Simple construction that should be functional. The shipping packaging was torn but the bubble wrap protected the louvers. Louvers were shipped signature required; this was not communicated in advance.
