The D-link DES-1210-28P 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet switch is ideal for small businee owners as it lets them have total control over their network. This switch eliminates the need of a complex reconfiguration process by connecting the Ethernet and Gigabit copper ports to existing CAT5 twisted pair cables. Ports on the D-link DES-1210 support auto-negotiation of MDI/MDIX crossover, hence removing the need of uplink ports or crossover cables.

    D-Link 28 Port POE Switch

    I am using this switch to supply POE to security cameras and WAN. Prior to using this swicth I used a Luxul switch. In comparison the Luxul switch was much quieter. The fans on this switch are pretty loud and as this is residential use I have to keep my equipment closet door closed. No other issues. THe switch performs as expected. I would have given the switch 5 stars if the fans were a little quieter.
