    One of my childhood "scary" afternoon films. I remember it on a small black and white t. v. set. The beginning is particularly hair raising and satisfying. Lots of famous actors that appear in this fil who later made great careers on television and film.

    Early Matt Dillon.

    One of the best sci-fi 50's thrillers.....great production value makes the giant ants believable. James arness shows a comedic touch....who knew his Matt Dillon role was about to happen. Seeing fess Parker in a brief role brings back the fabulous fifties too.

    Oldie and Goodie

    I truly have enjoyed this old movie, I remember watching this as a child. Really enjoyed watching it again.     Them is the longest of the creature movies of that time period. It also has the best special effects. Definitely a bigger budget than the others.
