    Bob Marley -Heartland Reggae DVD

    I was looking for a recorded Bob Marley Concert and was thinking it would be a single concert. This tape provided songs and clips from different events (concerts) in different locations within Jamaica. Some of the music has an occasional mic/feedback squeal, just like a live concert. Some were in a typical concert setting and others were outdoors at what appeared to be similar to a relaxed jam session amongst friends. There is lots of information concerning Bob's role as a messenger of peace. I consider the footage within this video very informative and enlightening. If you want to know more about Bob's role as a prophet and his usage of music to spread his message then this is a tape you must have. I consider myself lucky to actually see his work in Jamaica.     Bob Marley - Heartland Reggae (2001, DVD)

    I purchased this DVD because it in addition to some concert clippings by top reggae artists show some of the country of Jamaica. Jacob Miller is also on the show which is a rare occasion. I enjoyed it. If I had to say something I disliked it was that the secne went away from the live performance during the actual performance to show the country landscapes cutting the songs off.

    IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MARLEY , HE IS NOT HERE

    I purchased this DVD, because I am a huge Bob Marley fan. I believe that the movie made three brief references to the Great Bob Marley in the entire length of the movie. I think the title is miss leading. This is a very grainy story of jamaicas 1970's reggae scene.
