    The best valued 2c/4t CPU.

    It great for basic tasks. A great CPU for an entry level system with a great upgrade path. It's cheaper than the competition(Pentium G5400) and will overclock on the right motherboard. Cons: It's only a dual core which isn't ideal for power applications and triple A gaming. Even on a B450 or X470 the RAM is capped at DDR4 2666. The L3 cache is gimped. For $40 more you could get the R3 2200G which is a true quad core, has a better on die GPU and is unlocked with the multiplier and memory. If you're only looking to do basic things and don't want to spend a lot of money this is your GPU, the Vega 3 on die GPU will save you on buying a video card and you coulld have a compleye system foe close to $250 brand new. If you're looking to game and/or run power apps skip this. It's 35 watt part so ...

    Great CPU for the price

    I used it to build a NAS machine, with low priced parts I was able to build something cheaper than most of the cheap synology/qnap boxes with 2 bays, but with 6 SATA bays and upgradability.

    AMD's Ryzen bantam weight champion

    Sweet little hyperthreading Ryzen processor. With a BIOS update, it's overclockable to 3.8 GHz. Great compatibility with B350 chipset and higher motherboards. Excellent choice for entry level Ryzen system on a tight budget.
