Moore not only focuses on the insecurities of women, but also of men, which was an eye-opener for me being a woman. She explains the roots of insecurity thoroughly, and peppers helpful Bible verses throughout, although she could have had a little more scriptural examples, honestly. There are also real-life examples from people submitting to her website about how insecurity hindered them in their life, and seeing yourself in those bitingly honest and cringe-worthy examples...it can make a person reflect on their own life! With her prose, Moore speaks directly to you - the reader - and assures you she is right there alongside you with the struggle with insecurity. Great book! When my bible study group wanted to do this, I relunctantly bought the book to follow along. I'm a confident person who didn't think she had felt real insecurity since high school. But, reading the book, I realized how much I have encountered it throughout my lifetime. Beth Moore really pulls you in. The book has been a page turner for me, and an eye opener on not just recognizing my own insecurities, but in helping my friends deal with theirs. Recommend the study guide also.Great book! Good condition, quick delivery
The delivery time was great and the book was in almost perfect condition. My only complaint is that it had some markings like underlining of random words throughout the book that I was unaware would be there (it wasn't mentioned in the seller's listing). Otherwise, great buy and good transaction.
