    Now I have the entire set of Jesse Stone mysteries. They are all excellent and this one does not disappoint.

    It's the best kind of movie because it's real

    Unlike many other movies Jesse Stone, Thin Ice, in particular shows real life is not completely up or down. There isn't exactly a happy ending to any of the Jesse Stone movies and that's what I love about them. It portrays real life. When it's over you are left seeing Jesse end the day without any great celebration. He just keeps going about the day's business - reading to Suitcase while Suitcase is in a coma, sitting down on a bench after losing a friend, riding with his dog on a bus into New Mexico to give a mom news about what happened to her child. It may seem depressing to some people but it's not to me because it's just life. You keep going and try to make sure you do the right thing no matter what you may be experiencing at the moment. I wish more movies would be made life this, ...

    Tom Selleck is brillant as Jesse Stone.

    I absolutely love Tom Selleck in the role of Jesse Stone. I love the characters and the small town feel that Paradise has. Mr. Selleck's acting is superb, he plays a man so involved in his emotions and he pulls it off brillantly. I love the relationship with his dog. The two of them have similar problems,and the reaction of the dog to him is so emotional. If you want a good movie to watch without a lot of cussing and violence. Some romance but don't count on it much. I love a small town movie about real people and the burdens they hold close to them. Please just give it a try. I bet you will love it. Lisa

    geat movie!

    thin is is a great movie to watch!it was sad the way it ended,wish there could be another jessie stone movie.tom selleck is great in the lead role, i also loved viola davis as molly.i would love to see another movie in which jessie stone comes back to the town of paradise.

    Another Excellent Performance by Selleck

    Tom Selleck is great in this movie.. as he has been in all the other Jesse Stone movies. In solving these crimes.. he must think.. and think.. and think some more.. about who, how and why the crimes occur. This movie has no dull moments.. and is worth watching several times.. to allow the viewer to see how Jesse's brain analyzes the clues.. and also to see how he reacts to his own personal issues along the way. Can't wait for the next one to come out.. but am watching Blue Bloods till it does. Thanks Tom Selleck... you're the best!
