Less secure than expected.
Product name and specs are a little misleading... It makes you thing the thickness of the metallic par of the cable is 5/16in when in reality that includes the plastic wrapping. the wrapping doesn't add any additional security while the metallic part of the cable is only 1/4in. if you're willing to add about 4-5$ more, you could get a much much tougher cable with much tougher lock that you can change the combination to your liking. I only subtract 1 star because if you read carefully the description, it does tell you all that I didn't get when I first bought it. At any rate, I don't think it's worth the few bucks you'll be saving.Product name and specs are a little misleading... It’s fair for the price
I wouldn’t use it to lock up a bike that’s worth a good amount of money. It feels very flimsy and doesn’t really have any heft or weight to it. Maybe good for cheap Walmart bikes or similar. The latch is plastic over metal and feels very cheap. But it’s $6 so who’s really surprised?
