      Hello, B-50 Dacron stretches, you need to twist it a few turns to adjust a flemish final overall length. That is the beauty of a Flemish string, the design allows for a very large range to shorten a string....try a few twists to shorten it a bit, you can put up to 20 twists in our flemish strings.
