  • A great sequel to a great book.

This book is totally engrossing. It will keep your attention throughout the whole novel. Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson are amazing authors. They aren't the same as Frank Herbert, they don't write the same way, but they write in a similar fashion that is all their own, but incorporates some of the older Herbert's stuff. I HIGHLY recommend this and the Butlerian Jihad to any Dune fan. The story is not slow at all. However, about half way through, you do get a feeling like hurry up and finish this thing! But, the authors drag you back into the story with some convincing stuff, so that you feel that you should finish this book, then go out and get the third one, which I'm going to do now.

  • Ongoing Wars against the Machines and Omnius

Spurred on by the death of young Manion, humanity continues its fight against the intelligent machines and its human slaves. Much happens in this book and it’s full of compelling storyline, tragedy, and political plays. I recommend!!!

  • great book!

The book continues the story of the first book, Dune: The Butlerian Jihad. So it's best to read that book before reading Dune: The Machine Crusade. The book has ALOT of characters, and they all connect with each other at one point. Overall, a good book for science fiction fans.
