    Well worth reading, and the small investment is definitely worth the price.

    I bought this book, to learn more about the tackle and gear, that my father and grandfather grew up with, and wanted to relive some of those times, in my own fishing experiences, am a 30 yr., disabled veteran, trying to fish again, and the book has been invaluable in helping me get started. There was so much information, and valuable photos, that helped me make my connections to the past, that, besides, stopping and researching individual items, I found it easy to read through. The book was a great improvement to other books of this type that I have purchased.

    if you are a lure collector this is must have. it is very easy to access and it is well organized by company and lure with the years of manufacture etc. they also describe well the lure with pictures so you can be sure it is the right one. good for any library if you collect

HELP THE BEGINNING COLLECTOR OR THE SEASONED VETRAN QUICKLY AND EASILY IDENTIFY LURES AND HELPS DETERMINE CONDITION AND PRICE SO YOU DONT PAY TOO MUCH OR MISIDENTIFY A LURE WHICH IS EASY TO DO IF YOU DONT HAVE A GUIDE TO CLARIFY DETAILS SOMTIMES OVERLOOKED,PRICES ARE CONSTANTLY CHANGING BUT THIS BOOK KEEPS YOU IN THE BALLPARK AS FAR AS PRICES ARE CONCERNED, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE IN THIS HOBBY.

    This is a great book.

    My husband and I we just like antique fishing lures and we need help identifying the lures and what value they have this book I purchased on e-bay is all in all very helpful. It has nice pictures and good information . Some books just have identifying pictures and no value information . This one has a lot of information on what we need.
