    The product I ordered was not as described. Ordered a new product and received a used product that was missing some things from original packaging. When I tried to get a refund and send it back they only offered me 50% of what I paid even though they advertised 100% return guarantee for 30 days. I had it 2 days. I will take the $10 I got back and repair what it needs. Maybe it will work, maybe not. Will find out later. Hard to order any electronic equip and be sure it will work at arival.

    Remanufactured unit a great value.

    This was a factory re-manufactured unit at a great price. From the way it was packaged, it appeared to be a brand new unit. Pros; 1.Great price. 2. Works as expected. 3. Unit turns on automatically using the optical connection form the the TV. There is a slight delay before the sound is audible. 4. Unit turns off automatically when the TV is turned off. Cons:There is triangular shaped shadow on the power on screen. Not a big deal for me since the price was very reasonable.

    LG Home Theater BH5140S

    Recently purchased this home theater system with built-in Blu-Ray/DVD player. I have a fairly large theater room and the sound quality is great and fills the room completely. The picture quality is excellent and it up-scales the DVD's to near Blu-Ray quality. The only thing my previous unit did (different brand) that this is not doing is automatically switching my HDTV between the HDMI ports for cable on HDMI1 and Theater on HDMI2 and back again. I have not read thru the entire user manual to see if this is a setting I missed.

    This whole process was easy Peezy lemon squeeze. I purchased the system on Tuesday got it on Thursday the guy was great to deal was very understanding helpful and easy to work with. One thing I wish was the shipping wasn’t so expensive but I guess it was worth it?

    A good buy

    The volume is pretty good for 500 watts.I had to add some wire to the rear speakers and it seems to have lowered the volume power in those two a little.But the remote has a volume setting for each speaker.Hopefully it will last for a long time.
