    Had to download the original software.

    The C170 sent me to the Skype software which did not include the original Logitech software for the camera. Because the Skype software did not support still shots I had to download the original software from Softonic. Now I can take the still shots I bought the camera for. The other features are fine and maybe they will come in handy at some future date but I'm not using them right now.

    it is lightweight, and the mic works but the camera won't.

    it works as a microphone, but I still can't get it to set up as a webcam, apparently, I don't know what I am doing. seem's I can't find a driver for it. It keeps wanting me to push a button on it and there is no button to push, not even a reset button. I guess I got a new mic.

    Got for Skyping w elderly brother w Win 7

    Brother with limited computer skills wanted a web cam for Skyping on his Win 7 pc. He plugged it in and says it installed some stuff and it promptly started working. It may have other features, but does just what he wanted right out of the box.

    Great features, good quality, affordable price.

    Use it for Skype with my desktop computer. Good and clean picture, very strong signal from microphone, easy to install. I just connected it to USB port and that's all - camera was installed in a few seconds by itself (I use Windows 8.1 x64) . I like this web cam.

    A good product for use on Linux mint

    I purchased this product to use on a Dell computer running Linux Mint 17.3 there was no need to install any software just plugged it in and it worked right out of the box. It has awesome picture quality at 5 MP and what can I say it was a very good deal in that to buy it here in Brazil it would have cost 3 times what I paid even with the import tariff included
