Been in the mines and mint of Potosi Bolivia
I was looking for some history about the cobs because I have been in the 400 year old mines of Potosi Bolivia and the exceptional Mint/Museum down below in the City. It has helped me better understand the history of the several specimens that I got in Potosi and the evolution of the Spanish cobs before the era of the "milled" reales; the latter seen and reported on the Lewis & Clark Expedition. john w. fisher, authority on the Euro-American material culture of the Lewis & Clark ExpeditionI was looking for some history about the cobs because I have been in the 400 year old mines of Potosi Bolivia and the exceptional Mint/Museum down below in the City.
