Like every other Reader's Digest Songbook, Treasury of Great Show Tunes will not disappoint. It is an outstanding collection of piano solo/vocal music from the twentieth century. Included with each song is an interesting commentary about the music, composer, show, performer, era, and the impact of the song. The arrangements are interesting. With the lyrics, the songs are good for a group sing-a-long, a vocal solo, or simply as a piano solo. I am not a professional musician, and I can easily sight-read through the music.
