Both the front and rear cover are detached. There is a chip and the bottom of the rear cover, also a thin tear above it. One-third of the spine is missing. The first couple of pages of advertisements are detached. At the top of one of them is penned 'II-D-19.' There is no other writing to be found anywhere in the book. There are some thin losses at the edges of the advertisements. I turned over all the pages in the book. They are all present and accounted for. Curiously, between pages 156 and 157 there are four pages (eight sides) with paintings that look like all the other pages but are unnumbered, then it picks up at page 157. These pages are bound in normally so they belong there. Curious. There are four gatherings of pages that are each bound but detached from one another. Within the two larger gatherings there are a couple of instances where the binding is managed by only a few threads, literally. So it....Condition Continued below....”
